I run a sole proprietorship and build my own software products under the business name smtyyy.

I study computer science and work part-time at neubau kompass. Alongside that, I build my own products and smaller software projects, with a focus on clear solutions, automation, and the sensible use of newer technologies such as Codex.

The name smtyyy comes from an old gamer tag based on my last name. The domain happened to be available at a good price, and I did not want to overthink it.

Why I chose to work independently

I did not want to leave my own ideas as side projects forever. Working independently gives me the room to build products responsibly, at my own pace, and with clear decisions.

At the same time, hosting, domains, and releases cost money. That is why I try to build my own products in a solid and sustainable way without pretending they are more than they are.
